Redemption Plus is a leading provider of redemption toys and incentive merchandise to family entertainment centers, educational learning centers, and fundraising agencies. From large franchises to individual businesses, Redemption Plus focuses on helping organizations manage profitable redemption and incentive programs.

:: PROBLEM ::

Redemption Plus continually strives to provide additional service and value to their customers. Their traditional 72-page product catalog, however, had proven to be a poor representation of their personal service and evolving merchandise selection.

Because Redemption Plus’ product mix and inventory levels are constantly changing, their bi-annual catalogs were outdated almost as soon as they were printed. In addition, the static nature of the catalogs did not reflect the varying redemption values and markup percentages used by each customer, causing confusion and hurting sales.

Operationally, the product catalogs also caused difficulties for the Redemption Plus Sales team. Each time a Sales representative sent a catalog to a prospect or customer, they also had to manually create, print and include a personalized pricing guide, a 10-15 minute process.

:: SOLUTION ::

Mail Print worked with Redemption Plus to create an on-demand catalog ordering and production system. By connecting with Redemption Plus’ inventory database, catalogs automatically pull only the items currently available to each specific customer. Mail Print’s system also regularly “pings” Redemption Plus’ database for new or updated product assets – such as a product image, pricing, or SKU – to ensure catalogs include the most up-to-date information.

Redemption Plus’ prospect and customer database is also integrated with Mail Print’s automated system, allowing each catalog to be personalized with the recipients’ unique price levels, markups and ticket values for each of the potential 750 items in the catalog, as well as omitting any items restricted for that customer.

Catalogs can be ordered individually through an online portal, and are produced and shipped to the prospect or customer within three days by Mail Print. Electronic versions of the personalized catalogs are also available immediately to sales representatives, allowing them to follow up quickly with prospects by emailing their personalized catalog.

:: RESULTS ::

Operationally, Mail Print’s automated catalog personalization and production system has streamlined Redemption Plus’ catalog creation and mailing process from 10-15 minutes to 30 seconds per catalog, saving valuable Sales time and shortening the sales cycle.

Mail Print’s system allows Redemption Plus to send catalogs to individual qualified leads as they arise, eliminating waste due to outdated or unused static catalogs. The total number of catalogs produced has decreased, while follow-up with targeted prospects and customers has improved. Within the first two months of use, Redemption Plus was achieving an 8% contact rate.

Most importantly, the intense personalization of the catalogs serves as an extension of Redemption Plus’ dedication to providing a better customer experience and making redemption management simple and profitable.
