OVERVIEW
MAIL PRINT

The story of Mail Print begins in 1988, with a small, family-owned mailing business. Our client base grew quickly, as businesses learned they could rely on us to get their projects right, on time, every time. Our service offerings expanded quickly as well, as clients asked us to help them with other business needs. Soon, we were providing complete printing, mailing and fulfillment services for companies in Kansas City and nation-wide.

More than 12 years ago, Mail Print saw changes coming in the marketplace and the printing and mailing industry, and began adapting our services to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of our clients’ direct marketing.
  • In 1998 we invested in a new technology, Variable Data Printing (VDP), and became a test site for HP’s line of digital printers. While most print companies are just now learning VDP, we’ve been helping clients increase response rates with VDP for more than a decade.

  • In 2000 we began developing a web-based print management system to quicken the production of our client’s short-run direct marketing campaigns. During the first week following launch, we saw production preparation times go from 48 hours to 30 minutes.

  • In 2005 we launched our Marketing Communications Portal, giving clients the ability to manage their mailing lists, marketing campaigns and print collateral 24/7 through secure online accounts. Today, it’s trusted by more than 14,000 users from 250+ companies, including a Forbes 100 company with more than 3,000 retail locations.

  • In 2007 we updated our Marketing Communications Portal with automated campaign management, allowing users to initiate streams of communications (including direct mail, email and phone call reminders) through a single order. During this year we also added email marketing and Personalized URL marketing for our clients.

  • In 2008 we introduced a new division, Engagement Systems, that focuses on web-based marketing automation systems that integrate with a company’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system for increased efficiency and profitability.
Today, more than 20 years later, Mail Print is 80 employees strong, with an average year-over-year revenue growth of 12.5% since 2002, reaching $17.6 million in 2008. Mail Print is a recognized leader in direct marketing technologies including Web-To-Print, Variable Data Printing, Multi-Channel Marketing Automation and Personalized URLs.

Mail Print is located in a secure, underground facility in Kansas City, Missouri. Our production environment is built for speed, flexibility and redundancy. Every piece of equipment has a partner and every production associate has been trained on multiple processes. Our central location also allows us to reach audiences across the country quickly.
